Wherever status you are now, as a newbie or intermediate, there are no shortcuts to building a very successfull internet business or affiliate marketing. It can be very fun or “so called hardwork” whichever you want to look at it.

I would like to share with you some of the experienc es that i gone through which you can avoid and in the process will save you hundreds or thousands of hours doing unproductive marketings.

The most common mistakes that just started out in this online business do that i come across :

- They are trying to promote to many products at once (lack of committment)
- They are giving up fast being naive

Both are inter-related and self-reassuring to those who started out. It can be very obvious and for this reason i can relate my experience to it. Let me explain how the following scenarios can happen.

1. Too Many Products To Promote
   ============================

 Everyday, newbies or intermediate receive offers to buy this products or they come across affiliate programs to promote. They are eager to start and use all or most of the affiliate tools from the affiliate programs to promote not one but a few hoping to earn millions or hundreds of thousand in shortest time possible. When the efforts that they put in are not rewarded, their hopes become desparate to earn a couple of hundreds. Soon, they will not a single dime. Why is it not working for them.

As a newbie, it is important to know that you are in the learning process. Your are learning which is working or not.

So, you must clearly start on a playground promoting a product one at a time.

Imagine that you are in cooking class. You are learning how to bake a cake and a cook a soup. You will be juggling how to use all the ingredients for the cake and soup.

Isn’t easier and faster to learn how to bake a cake first, or juggling to bake a cake and cooking a pot soup at the same time.

As you can imagine, it is easier to bake a cake first.

So, It is just the same theory with internet marketing. There are so many promotion tools to use in internet marketing such google adwords, traffic generations,conversation rates and etc….

So, how many data do you want to juggle? Do you want to check say, your google ads word for your pets training, or spread across a few promotions in your pets training niche? Well, it is better for you to promote one at a time.
This is where a lot of beginners get themselves in a mess and they give up after a while.

For the season or experience marketers, they can juggle a few promotions at a go because they have learned and mastered the tricks to track their pro-motions earning them massive incomes in whichever niches.

They are able to twitch or adjust their promotions if they sense it’s reducing their income or programs to earn a fatter check.

2. Giving Up Too Soon just because you are naive:

Ok, so, you join the forums, forums and more forums seeking some information or posting a question? What you get is information overload hits, and you throw your hands in the air in surrender.

There’s no need to despair!

You can turn the situation around completely if you’ll just make a commitment  to do the following three things:

1. Pick ONE niche market
2. Pick ONE product from that market
3. Use just that one niche product as your testing ground, in order to solidify your skills as an affiliate marketer.

You see, its a lot like learning to ride a bicycle as a kid. You start off with a tricycle, then move up to regular bike with training wheels and from there onto riding any bike you choose.

The same is true for learning how to promote products as an affiliate, on your website or blog.

*Learn how to generate traffic on just one product
*Learn how to capture subscribers to your opt-in list for just one product
*Learn how to write advertisements and promotional copy for just one product
*Learn how to track your advertising links and conversion rates for just that one product and then, you’ll be able to turn around and apply that knowledge to additional products, in different niches.

The key is to get some real results established in one place, and only then start building on that incrementally.

For those who just started out or who have been long enough in this online business still haven’t make a dime yet, it is time to change your mentality and outlook about online business.  THIS IS A NOT A GET RICH SCHEME BUT “GET RICH FOREVER” IF YOU BUILD YOUR FOUNDATION SOLID AND STRONG.
