* Maximizing giveaway events to build your business *
Everybody been praising that Giveaway Events is the fastest way to build large list whether you are a newbie, intermediate or a guru. I won’t debate that. I was taught by my mentor - Alex Jeffreys that giveaway events is one of the fastest way to build a list. As a newbie myself, I am maximizing giveaway events to build my business. So far, giveaway events get my nod and yes, it works. Look at the statistics below.
Since I seriously started contributing my gifts to giveaway event about three weeks ago , I have build a list of about 120 subscribers. Wow. 120 new subscribers is a huge success to me and I have not even started upgrading my account. Imagine, upgrading my account (yes, you need to pay) and I can contribute more than a gift to build my list faster. Of course you can contribute your free gift and still build your list faster than any other conventional ways but if you are serious about building your business , go for the upgrade and it doesn’t cost much.
You need to check the traffics to the Giveaway event before deciding to upgrade so you won’t get dissapointed with your result at the end of day. One way is to check the statistics of the traffics to the Giveaway event last year. How successful was the Giveaway event? That way, you will have a better gauge how successful the event for this year? See who are the top gurus or successful marketers joining the Giveaway event? ** Hint ** They do have a huge list of subscribers, right? Normally when a successful top marketer is in one of the Giveaway or the person launching the Giveaway event, then it is going to be a highly succesful Giveaway event.
I was told that one particular Giveaway event that will bring a lot of top marketers together is Easter Giveaway. Last year Easter smart marketers dusted their products to Easter Giveaway event and added almost 20,000 new subscribers on complete autopilot. It appears this year that more hot shot gurus are sending their gargantuan lists to the event than ever. That means oodles more subscribers for you to siphon from their lists onto yours. So, it is worth to upgrade and snatch a chunk of subscribers to your list.
Launch Date : 07/04/09 To 21/04/09
Since Jason James launch his giveaway product, the giveaway events are sprouting like mushrooms after raining. I have listed a host of forth coming Giveaway events at http://jeffreyblogonline.com/giveaway-events. You can even check out my JV Giveaway Events Directory at “GIVEAWAY EVENT” page at the right side of my blog. Be sure to bookmark that page to sign up which Giveaway event you fancy and contribute your gift. You can even become member to grab all the free gifts that consist e-books,scripts, softwares, video tutorials etc….
Like everybody said Giveaway events is the fastest way to build a huge list but no one ever talks about how awesome these events are as a regular member.
In case you don’t know what is a Giveaway event, here’s a quick recap. It is normally last from one week to a month. This is big event where marketers give away a bunch of free e-books,scripts,softwares etc… for members to download it for free in exchange for their e-mail address.
The benefit for you is that you get a free product, and for them it’s having a bigger mailing list.
There are all kinds of awesome stuff that you can get at these events.
But the big tip I really want to give you is to stay focused! It is so crazy, yes crazy and freakin’ easy to just start downloading every product left and right. I used to do that and my hardisk now is collecting dust and a big waste of time for me.
The big problem is that you could be wasting your time downloading all this free stuff that you will never, ever use! You need to focus and find the products that you believe will directly help your business.
Another thing you can do is look for trustworthy names.
Maybe a marketer you trust is giving away something. Or maybe someone is giving away a product that is created by a marketer you know. Then you might want to give that a try since you can trust it will be a good quality product.
And of course, you can build your list very quickly by becoming a contributor.
Bottom line, whether you are the owner, a contributor, or a member, this truly is a win-win situation for everyone involved. If you haven’t tried a giveaway event yet, then I hope you take some time to check them out.
I hope you have a wonderful Easter and happy downloading. Just for you today, your action is to click the following giveaway events. You will definetely love it.

Hi Jeffrey,
Great to see you having success with your list-building via giveaways. You’re actually ahead of me here as I’m still working on my give-away product. It’s a monster!
This past couple of weeks I’ve taken some time out to re-think and re-group. At last I’ve got the hang of this IM stuff and have gone into profit.
You’re right about all the free stuff just wasting your time. I wasted years reading free information whist I built very few sites. Indeed I’ve built more sites in the past three months than in the previous ten years, and promoted them better across the Net.
But when you put a killer product into a give-away I guess it should go viral. Alex’s ‘Guru’s Dream’ for example was a complete product and helped make his name.
Let me know how you get on . . .
All good wishes,
Stephen
Hi Stephen,
Thanks for nice comment. I guess my hardwork is paying off. If you read my earlier post, my target is to get at least 5000 subscribers by end of this year. You know, I am a lazy guy. I want to quit my full time job and concentrate my online business.
It’s great to hear that you are building your own sites and making money from it. I wish you every success and time to time will checking on your blog and of course twittering with you.
Keep in touch,bro.
Jeffrey
Hey Jeffrey,
I’ve read your post and I have to admit I’m confused.
In the last couple of weeks I’ve been inundated by e-mails from Alex Jeffrey’s students regarding JV giveaways and didn’t take much notice of it. But now looking back in retrospect, I think I might be missing out on something good here - subscribers.
The problem I’m having, and I’m hoping you can help me out with, is that there are so many JV giveaway sites out there at the moment and I’m not sure which one to join.
Plus, apart from AJ’s list building and other e-books which have probably been promoted quite regularly, what other fairly new products can one promote on the JV giveaway?
So, I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction and tell me what’s the best way to start, who to join, what product to promote and how to make the most of it.
Thanks
Guy
