Review Of Dec 2008 And New Year Online Business Marketing Goals Resolution For 2009

Hi Guys,

Before i begin with, I want to take this opportunity to wish all ALEX JEFFREYS STUDENTS a very Happy and A prosperous New Year 2009. I wanted to personally hop over to all of your blogs and wish you guys a Happy New Year but unable to finish the race.

First and foremost, I wanted to review what have i achieved in Dec 2008? I put up my blog in cyberspace on the 8th Dec 2008 and henceforth, i will review my online journey from Dec 2008.

Here was the initial goals that i set up for Dec 2008 when i started off.

- My blog and PPP was up and running.

- Learn to set up Google Analytic for my PPP and blog.

- I have build up some traffic generations. (Squidoo Lens, Myspace, Facebook, yes, Twitter and more…)

- My RSS was set up.

- I fell short on this. Earn ($30.00) to cover my Aweber ($20.00) and    Hosting ($10.00) for monthly billing.

-  It was easy to put videos in my blog than i thought. Do check them out hereMovies can tell you a thousand things. Don’t just watch and forget it but try to understand the meanings. Some powerful ideas u can pick up if you truly understand the meanings. Trust me on this.

- Earn $500.00. I fell short on this also. I was not serious about doing extras on earning it.

What i have achieved in Dec 2008 was really remarkable. I must thank all of you guys who help me along the way with issues like technicals difficulties, FTP, RSS etc… There are too many of you here that i wanted to mention and list out. I am sorry about that. Anyway, i have leave comments on your blog.

Finally, I have sorted out all my mega plans for 2009. Some of you may ask, why was i delaying revealling my online business marketing goals.  I be very honest with you guys, here. I didn’t actually write down all the details when i did my planning. I thought about the majors goals i must achieve in 2009 during my working hours,  during sleeping (Ha!Ha! Actually my subconsious mind i am talking about), my leisure time and so on. From there, i break it down to what i want to achieve in a full calendar year, half yearly,90 days, weeklys and then daily. It took me about two full weeks to mind map it all out. A very daunting task but i wanted to make sure that i must achieve every one of it. I am so serious about it. I am sort of an almost perfectionist. No more fooling aound. My whole life depend on it. It’s do or die. I need to do what is suppose needed from of me. So, I have decided to stick and abide with ALEX JEFFREYS COACHING PROGRAM TEACHINGS.

If at anytime i sway from my objectives, i know what to look for. Bling and i am back on track. Guys, we will be facing more challenges than ever this year. Everybody in this planet are watching us right now.  The momentum that we have generated is snowballing to gigantic size and the effects can be felt one corner of the earth to another corner. From Australia to Asia, Europe, Americas, Israel, Africa and it will not stop any sooner. In fact, it is going to leave it’s marks for years to come.

I feel sorry to those guys that pay $500.00 for ALEX JEFFREYS COACHING PROGRAM hoping to learn real profitable ONLINE BUSINESS MARKETING  yet not doing anything about it. I will be very critical here. In fact, I put it bluntly. These guys will never achieve any financial success ever.  Man, i will  kick myself if i am not cloning what ALEX JEFFREYS COACHING PROGRAM teaches. That is why, I thank almighty god for this opportunity that i have in hand every single day.

Between of planning my goals, I have surf some of your blogs to see what you guys plan to achieve in this year. I have mixed reactions after what have i seen. One part of me says , should i set lofty targets that doesn’t look stupid but not able to achieve at the end of the year or targets that i know i can achieve it but not great enough. It was hard to decide and i was getting nowhere. So, I finally decided to follow the simple formula below.

ACHIEVEABLE X 10 TIMES

Okay, here are my goals for 2009. I have left out the income part because i really don’t like to show it. I will tell you if you want me to. (personal e-mail).

PERSONAL

- Lose 10 Kgs from 81 to 71 Kgs

- Take  vacations to Hong Kong/Macau.

BUSINESS

- Write more educational content informations on my blog to provide value for my fellow readers.

- Write an e-book (no ideas yet but value pack informations).

- Oil Rigging Hopping ( One Hour A Day At Least)

- Continue With The Coaching

- Build A Mailing List Of 2000 List Subscribers

- Build on Social Medias Marketing

- (1) 3000 updates for Twitter, 10000 followings

- (2) 50 Squidoo Lenses

ENTREPRENEURIAL

-  Outsourcing projects (e.g.article submitting)

Some of the targets are lofty to a newbie like me but you need to aim high. There is a saying if you can’t reach the moon, at least you reach the sky. Yes, most importantly, i will be able to quit my job  If i achieve all of the aboves.

Let’s us make 2009 the most memorable year in the history on online.  Just a thought. Isn’t it wonderful if all of us meet up in an exotic place and share our success story. Aaahhhh..  Is that a goal???

All the best.

  1. Hi Jeffrey

Happy new year to you. Just reading throught this post I have to agree with you about some of AJ’s students who apart from set up their blog have not really ran with it. Man what a waste of money if can’t make time or be bothered.

I’ve had a look at most so far and the majority are doing something but guys if you want to succeed in IM, you have do give more than 100%. It’s no good just doing bits here and there or treating it like a part time business or hobby.

Forget for the moment the people who say you can make $10,000 a month working 2 hours a day. That comes later once you’ve done the hard work laying the foundations. If you’re not prepared to do go that extra mile, you may as well quit now because in 5 years time you will still be in the same position. Trust me I know this from experience!

Great blog Jeffrey and thanks for sharing how you’re driving your traffic.

    Best wishes for 2009

  2. Hi Doug,

Thanks for your straight talking and honest comment. I am happy someone like you agree with a me. I am a proud newbie to say the least.

To those reading these, take a cue from Doug and don’t do this half-heartedly. You will kick yourself down the line in 5 years time. Errr… Make it in a year.

May the force be with Doug.

I have left you a comment at your blog.

    Thanks again.

  3. Hi Jeffrey

You are so right that we have to work hard at moving forward, to set our goals and be accountable to others.

It is though important to remember that we are not all the same, that we all have different skills, backgrounds, lifestyles etc and not to beat ourselves up if other people are doing ‘better’ than us at any given time.

What is important is that we are true to ourselves and try to do the very best that we can to move our lives forward through failing forward fast.

Yes I believe that outsourcing is important, but I also believe in the importance of learning to do something for yourself, so that not only can you do it again yourself, but also pass that information on to others. Again it is a question of each one of us getting the balance right for ourselves.

We are who we are (none of us is a nobody) and we are all important individuals. Let us remember that, continue to support one another and grow in what we are all doing.

Here’s to an exciting and prosperous 2009!

    Hilary

  5. Hi Jeffrey,

Good for you in getting your 2009 goals completed and published. I hadn’t thought of specifying how many squidoo lenses or # of twitter followers. You’ve given me something more to think about.

    Best of luck,

  6. Hi Kath,

Thanks for your comments. What a shame the link popularity tool doesn’t work for blog. Anyone knows what link tool work for the blogs? Anyway,I will check further on this.

Okay,I am hopping over to your blog today and see what else is new?

    Adios for now.

    Jeffrey

  7. Hi Debbie,

One of the thing that i learned from you is that we can keep on adding more goals if we able to achieve it before the deadline. It is a never ending journey. Once we achieve something, don’t stop and be comfortable with what you achieve but keep on improving on your little success. Say for example if i achieve my 3000 updates before my deadline, i will put a new goal to achieve another 5000 updates.

Do you see how powerful goals can do for you? Plan, focus and take action on your goals.

Can’t wait what your goals for twitter and squidoo.

    Thanks again.

    Jeffrey

  8. Hi Hilary,

I do agree with you on the outsoucing. I think i didn’t define clearly what needs to be outsource. Generally,we need to learn first and know what it is and pass the information to people who needs the information you are having, then your reader will grow and expand. Only then, you can outsource your task and move on to some other important tasks. Hope that clarify what i mean with outsource.

What i have seen each and everyone of us are different and unique in a sense we can learn from each other. Let us grow and support each other.

Thanks again, Hilary for your wonderful comments.

    Keep in touch.

    Cheers.

    Jeffrey

  9. Hi Jeffrey,
You’ve done a great job with your blog and outlining your goals for 2009.

Personally, I think it’s okay to outsource things you don’t know how to do. Decide if you can afford to outsource some tasks. If what you’re outsourcing is not crucial to your overall plan, then go ahead.

Outsourcing can mean other things, too. Melanie Mendelson wrote that she outsources her house work. She hired a housekeeper to take care of daily chores (that she could probably do better herself), but her time is better spent writing articles, creating products and partnering with IM business people.

    Just a thought,
    Theresa

  10. Hi Theresa,

I coudn’t agree more with you that we need to outsource tasks that you can afford and not important to our overall plan like what Melanie Mendelson doing in order to free our time doing other important tasks such as writing article, e-books or partnering with IM people. You got this nail to the head.

We don’t have the luxury of time like before when we started out with the coaching. No blog or ppp or social networks to content with. Now, we got millions of things to do and now the crucial part of our business is to plan and accomplish our daily tasks. Only then, our business will hit dizzy heights and we will be able to gain financial freedom and time.

Theresa, let us work diligently and support each other. Go F500.

    Thanks for your thought.

    Jeffrey
